As outlined in other sections,
www.WholeLook.com
is the primary project
of Look Ventures at the moment. After WholeLook is completed other projects
will follow. •
The current version of
www.WholeLook.com
does not yet have a functioning PPC revenue capability, now the
ability to presents search results in a selected language. Nor does it
yet have the capability to allow users to set up their own categories
and website links as a fully functioning bookmark styled home page web
portal.
Once the full design
and implementation of WholeLook.com has been completed, the finished
website will combine the usefulness and revenue generating
potentials of a powerful search engine, with the traffic
generating potentials of Social Internet formats, with the world
wide universal home page appeal of a multi language converter. Once
users have started logging in and interacting with WholeLook, it will
be coupled with an all
new ultra secure data storage mechanism making it all but impossible
to hack into WholeLook's vital user information.
• POWERFUL SEARCH ENGINE
• As a consequence of
loosing look.com in 2003, Mr. Livingstone has financed the whole of the
current WholeLook.com version to date out of a makeshift
income. Consequently, parts of the search engine component are not yet
properly functioning to date solely for the lack of expertise on Mr. Livingstone's part
to complete the functions, and lack of funds on Mr. Livingstone's part to hire a proper professional on the other. However the points
advocating the assorted search engine, language, and Social Internet
features is well made.
The way to compete
against a search powerhouse like Google, is not to try and outdo its
search results which would be all but impossible, but to couple a good
search result with search engine features not provided by the others.
Wholelook does this admirably through a search engine module from InOut Search, which
Look Ventures LLC uses under licence.
The module provides
search results from Yahoo, arguably the second best in the business
behind Google, coupled with the ability to search in other languages,
plus can restrict the search to just one country. These two features are
not yet fully enabled in the WholeLook site. Once fully
enable, Wholelook will not only present its prompts in the chosen
language, it will present the search results also fully translated and
any link selected will also be fully translated.
• WEBSITE TRAFFIC
WILL COME FROM 5 MAIN SOURCES
Website traffic comes from 5 main sources:
1. Usefulness
• A viewer
finds the website useful and returns. Since WholeLook is uniquely Universally
useful, self growth in traffic is assured.
2. Viral - based on usefulness
• Viewer
one find the site useful and tells their friends, The friends find the site
useful and tell their friends. Since it is presumed that any viewer in any
language will find the site particularly useful, it is expected that they will
tell every one they know and viral traffic growth is assured.
3. Bring Back - augmenting
usefulness and virility
• Bring back is
a web site feature that isn't pinned to it's usefulness. WholeLook has a number
of interesting and amusing daily jokes and features. WholeLook's bring back
potential is proven as roughly two thirds of WholeLook's daily traffic was in
return visitors before the language feature was implemented.
4. OEM
•
Because of WholeLook's
unique and universal usefulness and bring back potentials, the need is to get as
many new viewers to WholeLook as possible as first time viewers.
Search engines are
still a major source of web traffic, for some websites the only source. OEM
means Search Engine Optimization, namely making the website look sweet to search
engine for high results placement on the sites relevant keywords.
This is not
something that comes easily. Work must be done within the site to make it
attractive, requiring paid workers, and work must be done by professionals who
know how to present a website the search engines properly, requiring outside
costs.
Since WholeLook has a universal theme, many different approaches can be used,
and the sky's the limit.
5. Marketing - affiliation, social internet, articles, public news
releases, RSS feeds
• Once
everything is in place, WholeLook has a huge potential for public media exposure
for fee, because a good general public website story has not come along in a
long time. Public media press releases are ideal as a good story in a major
newspaper or similar venue can push hundreds of new visitors to as site
overnight. Sine WholeLook had top return visit potential from both its
usefulness and from its bring back value, one or two good exposures should be
enough to do the trick.
Similarly, WholeLook
has numerous angles on which an article for article directories can be hooked.
Articles of themselves do not cause a lot of additional traffic, however, search
engines finds the links in the articles which helps toward the website's overall
relevancy within the different search engines. the key for Wholelook is that
numerous articles can be generated exploiting the different aspects of Wholelook
without becoming redundant.
Additionally, a
whole new marketplace for website promotion has opened up in recent years. A
websites' profile can be placed on the thousands and thousands on Social
Internet sites now online. In some cases, viewers surfing the sites will find
the profile and link to WholeLook. More importantly search engines will find the
profiles as they particularly spider the Social Internet sites every couple of
seconds because the sites are constantly being updated by their users new inputs
in real time. Constantly, upgrading the WholeLook profiles is a full time job
for a hired Social Internet expert, and would a substantial source of getting
first word to new viewers.
Another new marketing source is
called RSS feeds. Basically a website at large would put an RSS feed from
Wholelook in their website, and receive constant daily new content to enhance
their site such as one or more of WholeLook's daily humours. WholeLook receives
a constant daily exposure to new viewers on the receiving sites as a first time
contact resource. One good RSS feed can be picked up by thousands upon thousands
of websites. So the potential is enormous.
6. Paying for PPC and text link placements.
A secret here. Most advertisers look
for as fast a turn over rate as possible so think they expensive venues like
Google and Yahoo in order to obtain a fast return on investment because of their
awesome daily search traffic capabilities . However, an advertiser can use the same amount
of money parsed over a number of smaller venues for ten to twenty times the
eventual click throughs, which average out over the assorted sites such that the net
run rate
time is much the same.
• UNIVERSAL SOCIAL INTERNET
• Wholelook also
proposes in time, providing through the website yet another universal
Social Internet concept based on categories.
As the traffic from the new addition builds, traffic for WholeLook
will build accordingly. As will the spin off of revenue through the
search engine.
• FULLY SECURE DATA BASE STORAGE
•
Look Ventures has propriety right to an ultra
safe data storage system called FortCip. FortCip is at the intellectual stage
only and needs to be programmed. FortCip can provide WholeLook with a unique
opportunity.
Facebook has rapidly climbed to the number
two website position in the world. It has been receiving considerable criticism
lately for having had its records hacked and for eventually opening its user
records to the public to discourage hacking.
WholeLook is in a unique position to
step in with a FaceBook alternative whose records will never be open
to the public and which cannot be usefully hacked.

• WHOLELOOK REVENUE POTENTIAL
• From XML sponsored link feeds on the search results pages.
WholeLook's most viable
revenue source is sponsored links within the search results pages.
This is common practice within the industry. The major search engine
such as Google, Yahoo, and Ask, plus a myriad of smaller operations
sell Pay Per Click sponsored links to advertisers. To help provide
outlets for the search results, the search engine companies provide XML
link feeds to other websites allowing them to present the links in
search results on their sites on a revenue sharing basis.
The major engines
require daily traffic in excess of a hundred thousand unique visitors
a day. However many smaller outfits provide sponsored links to any
website as a way for WholeLook.com to get started.
• From
Wholelook Pay Per Click sponsored results in the search results pages.
The biggest money is
from selling Pay Per Click advertising directly from the website
(see the white Paper link under 'Background'). Look Ventures has the capacity to allow WholeLook.com
to start selling Pay Per Click advertising to its users through a Pay
Per Click module which it owns as soon as it can be installed. The
small amount Money to do it is the sole and only holdup.
Both Google and Yahoo
went from deep red to hugely in the black almost overnight
after starting to sell Pay Per click advertising on their sites circa
2005 - 2006.
• From a
Wholelook Shopping Mall capacity wound in throughout Wholelook by links to a
shopping mall section.
The second biggest
revenue earner would be from a universal online shopping mall
patterned after web sites such as
http://www.bigcommerce.com. All WholeLook.com needs is a
dedicated shopping mall section and a start page. Payment would be
through a WholeLook shopping cart and payment system, which these days
is easy to find and install at nominal cost. Making Wholelook also
a self sufficient shopping medium.
Likewise, WholeLook does
not have to front the cost of warehousing and shipping any of the
products it sells. Numerous warehousing companies now exist which
cater to online marketing businesses. In short, somebody's website sells a
product, the sale is piped to a particular warehousing outfit to
package and ship at a discounted price. The website making the sale
pockets the difference.
Look Ventures plans for
WholeLook to sell a whole plethora of different products like a Wall
Mart through its traffic and reach potentials.
• From Text Ads such as Google Adsense.
Text adds such as Google
AdSense et al, are sponsored links which can appear anywhere within a
website. The cost to the advertiser, and hence revenue to the website
presenting them is not as high as search engine Pay Per Click links, as
the targeted relevancies are not as specific as Pay Per Click inclusions which
are targeted straight to the search keywords used in the searches.
Done right however, text ads can be a good source of revenue. Some
sights such as the Article Directories website SearchWarp earns $150,000
a year from Adsens adds placed carefully within its articles so as not
to look so much like an ad to its viewers.
There is no format for
earning good revenue from text ads as it is an art form that needs to
be tested by trial and error for each particular site they appear in.
Text ads are also
convenient for filling in spaces and breaking up monotonies within a
website as a bottom line. Such text ads as would be started in
WholeLook would be replaced over time by similar looking text adds
pointing to WholeLook's shopping mall
and other revenue
producing factions for a much greater
revenue potential per ad once the mall part has been implemented.
• From
revenue sharing Affiliate links from other websites.
Most online companies
with a product or service to sell, market their offerings through a method called Affilliation. The process is simple, The end user
website places in a piece of code advertising the affiliated site, such that if someone clicks on the ink and makes a purchase, the end
website earns a percentage of the sale.
Since WholeLook's
default pages have numerous links to websites offering
affiliation sharing, all WholeLook needs to do is add the appropriate
code to any such link. As the number of links within WholeLook
inventory will
presumably increase over time, the revenue from this resource will
increase over time.
• WHOLELOOK ADVANTAGES OVER OTHER WEBSITES
The name says it all. Because the domain name
WholeLook.com is not a targeted name,
www.WholeLook.com
needs
not be limited to one product, service, or feature.
- Wholelook can be migrated
fully into any country and language around the world. Once the home page
customization has been enabled, a custom version of WholeLook can be
saved in any of the languages by the user. Every time the user goes to WholeLook
to view translated sites, WholeLook will record a visit. EIf they use WholeLook
as their home page WholeLook will record a visit every time they open their
browser. WholeLook has enormous traffic potential without having to break the
bank.
This gives WholeLook additional universal
value appeal over and above the universality of its features.
• Other Projects
•
Mr. Livingstone intends
to finish off the Hi Fi Speaker project started in the early eighties,
plus the Ring World word processor and webpage editor started in the
later eighties, plus the remainder of his autobiographical series
started at the end of the nineties. All have revenue generating
potentials. All need funding to continue them to completion,
expecting to use income from WholeLook.
